Our Legacy of Excellence in Alzheimer’s Care and Research
For over 30 years, Rancho CADC has provided comprehensive care, innovative research, and professional training. Discover our mission, history, and dedication to Alzheimer’s treatment.
Our mission is to improve health care delivery and quality of life for both patients with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, as well as their families and caregivers.
The Rancho/University of Southern California (USC-Rancho Los Amigos) CADC was established in 1985 as one of the original State of California Alzheimer’s Disease Centers (CADC). In over 30 years, we have cared for over 3500 patients with memory disorders.
Housed on Los Angeles County’s nationally renowned Rancho de Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center campus, we are a Center of Excellence within the LA County Department of Public Health system.
Affiliated with the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine, and the Rancho Research Institute, we’re also a medical education facility helping to train doctors, nurses, psychologists, and social workers who will care for Alzheimer’s patients.
Since 1985, we have trained hundreds of professionals and students through:
- Fellowships
- Residencies
- Internships
- Rotations
- Clerkships
- Continuing medical education courses
- Academic classes
- Lectures
- Presentations
