Program
Our wellness programs support the healthy development and personal growth among Latinos by providing health related resources and ongoing interactive classes aimed to promote healthy aging.
Our Mission
Our mission is to support the mind, body and spirit among intergenerational communities of color through physical exercise and nutrition classes. We are dedicated to reversing the growing public health crisis of dementia, heart disease, and diabetes that disproportionately affect communities of color.
The “A Moverte” classes are a series of events focused on exercise, nutrition, and healthy aging for everyone interested in keeping their mind and body healthy. The La Buena Vida program is part of “The Good Life,” which started at the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine, in collaboration with the City of Oakland’s Parks and Recreation program and sponsored by the California Department of Public Health.

The instructors offer modifications to address all the different fitness levels and ensures that everyone can participate safely.
Let’s get moving! Seated Class (virtual & in-person)
