Mission
Educate professionals in a health care field to provide excellence of care for individuals diagnosed with dementia and their caregivers.
Our Vision
“Let’s Make Dementia a Memory”
How it all began
The Many Faces of Dementia Conference grew out of the USC Alzheimers Disease Consortium, created in 1999 to bring together clinicians and researchers across the two campuses of USC (University Park and Health Sciences) who were working in the area of dementia care and research. The original members of the Consortium were the USC-Rancho California Alzheimers Disease Center (CADC), the USC-California Alzheimers Disease Center (CADC), the USC Alzheimers Disease Research Center (ADRC), and the USC Caregiver Resources Center (CRC) along with individuals from a number of schools and departments. The Consortium recognized that care for individuals with Alzheimers disease or other dementias involves a team of health care and social service providers and decided to establish a one day conference that would bring together professionals working with patients and families that would highlight advances in science and practice and create opportunities for networking.
Educational Credits
We offer Educational Credits, CME and CE to professionals that attend the full day conference.
